VETERANS DAY FLAG CEREMONY

Join the Montauk Playhouse Community Center on Friday, Nov. 11th at 11:00am to pay tribute and thanks to our treasured Veteran’s at the Annual Veterans Day Flag Ceremony.  Montauk’s local Boy Scouts and Brownies will participate in the event, which will include a wreath laying ceremony and refreshments. A small but touching event.

LIGHTING OF THE LIGHTHOUSE

Do it like a Montauker.  Officially start the holiday season at the annual Montauk tradition of the Lighting of the Lighthouse on Saturday, Nov. 26th from 4:00pm - 7:00pm hosted by the Montauk Historical Society. Listen to live music, sip on hot chocolate and chomp on candy canes while the sun sets for the main event. One tip… plan to stay and enjoy the Lighthouse lights for a bit after the actual event or else you’ll be gazing into the lights of a rear bumper for longer than you’d like. 

SANTA VISITS THE LIGHTHOUSE

This is your chance to get up close and personal with Santa at the lighthouse on Sunday, Nov. 27th. Hosted by the Montauk Historical Society, the jolly good fellow shows up every year to hear your requests in person.  Grab some hot chocolate and delicious treats while you wait.

GINGERBREAD WORKSHOPS AT GURNEY'S MONTAUK

Saturday, December 3rd, 10th & 17th

Resort guests and visitors are invited to join us for festive, family-friendly gingerbread house building. It’s the perfect indoor activity to keep your family entertained. You’ll decorate your house with candies and frosting and then take it home to enjoy. Instructors from The Baking Coach will be on site to teach you how to craft your delicious cookie creation.
